Good friend and former bandmate came to me about making some artwork to go with a collection of new songs he wrote and produced. I love working on passion projects with people! There’s less pressure of a looming deadline and typically there’s more room to explore creative directions. The musician had a concept for the cover art I went from there. The final version combines abstract doodling landscapes that I have been exploring for a while. The original artwork was done with ink and colored pencil on mixed media paper. I then scanned the artwork and manipulated the colors in Photoshop until both musician and artist we happy.
