A beauty spa needed branding for their new location. Kensho is a Japanese term from the Zen tradition translated as “seeing one’s true nature”. Inspired by this holistic approach to body and nature, the custom kensho lettering is made to be balanced and fluid – like Japanese calligraphy. The “O” and accent mark become the logo symbol which is in step with the Zen tradition where the circle represents the cycles of life.
